8. This is our very brave Wilson, who was 6 on 16 August. He has had to deal with IVDD, an awful disease that 25% of dachshunds will unfortunately succumb to, but is recovering well since his back surgery in February. Su Saunders

A bit of a mountain goat at heart, she can regularly also be found scaling the white cliffs to the amazement of visitors and locals alike. This picture was taken during the high winds of Storm Franklin this year, just prior to take-off! Judith Hill
