Dunwich Heath and Beach, Suffolk

National Trust sites up and down the country play host to Easter trails during the holidays. Among them, Dunwich Heath and Beach’s nature-inspired trail offers fun for the whole family – taking part costs £3.50 per trail, which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg (nationaltrust.org.uk).
Coleton Fishacre, Kingswear, Devon

Another National Trust treat for spring is the Easter trail in Coleton Fishacre’s picturesque garden, which links directly to the South West Coast Path It costs £3.50 per trail (nationaltrust.org.uk).
Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens, East Yorkshire
28 March – 12 April
There are 25 huge hand-carved and painted wooden eggs hidden around this manor house and its grounds this year – your challenge is to find them all. Ticket prices vary, with individual and family admission available (burtonagnes.com).

Culzean Castle & Country Park, South Ayrshire
3-6 April
Easter egg trails are also being held at 42 National Trust for Scotland places in 2026, all combining a spring walk with puzzle-solving to earn an Easter treat – trail sheets cost £5 each. Culzean, perched on a cliff, is a great spot to take part (nts.org.uk).
Lowestoft Easter Egg Hunt, Suffolk

Participate in a fun-filled adventure in and around Lowestoft town centre, then claim a prize on completing the trail (discoverlowestoft.co.uk).
Inverewe, Wester Ross, Highlands

Another excellent National Trust for Scotland spring trail – combine your Easter ramble with an exploration of the lush lochside gardens at Inverewe (nts.org.uk).
