For the freshest fish ever, take home the catch of the day sold directly from the Fisherman’s Quay and cook it yourself.
Dogs love Porthleven too. With breath-taking cliff walks and the wonderful Penrose Estate on the doorstep, Porthleven is a dog lover’s paradise. There’s no need to leave the family pup at home as they are welcome in most of our properties and in many of the restaurants and cafés too.
Families love Porthleven because there is so much to do, from swimming on the lifeguard-attended beach, paddle-boarding in the harbour, bike rides on Penrose’s traffic free roads, surf lessons on the Lizard to fishing and rockpooling on the craggy rocks.
