WHAT’S THE BUZZ?
This Moroccan-influenced boutique hotel offers a stylish hideaway in the centre of the island’s capital, St Peter Port. Accessed via steps that climb the hills surrounding the town, the hotel has wonderful views over the port and out to sea. Individually owned, it’s the perfect antidote to large and impersonal hotel chains.

ANY LUXURIOUS TOUCHES?
There’s a south-facing garden, Moroccan lounge, fantastic cocktails, good WIFI, free toiletries and wonderful food.

WHAT ARE THE ROOMS LIKE?
There are 14 bedrooms, 11 of which have balconies or open onto a terrace. The rooms are small here, but perfectly formed, and decorated in a bohemian, Moroccan style.

BEST SEA VIEW?
There are sea views from the restaurant, garden and many of the bedrooms. The Loft room, with its own balcony, has stunning views across to the nearby islands of Herm and Sark.

HOW ABOUT THE FOOD?
The lively and friendly hotel restaurant offers a delicious, Moroccan-influenced menu. Dishes include seabass chermoula, butternut and chorizo tagine and spiced lamb burgers on berber flatbreads. We also loved the beach huts on the restaurant terrace, where you can order food or drink cocktails. These huts can be booked in advance for groups of four to six people.
