2. BEDRUTHAN STEPS HOTEL & SPA

WHY HERE? This is the family-friendly sister hotel to the child-free Scarlet, which is just around the corner in this stunning sandy bay.
FACILITIES AND TREATMENTS The luxurious spa has an indoor swimming pool, treatment rooms, a cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam room, lavender caldarium, and a fantastic hydro pool with views of the sea. 3. CHRISTCHURCH HARBOUR HOTEL & SPA

4. THE CLIFF HOUSE HOTEL

5. THE SCARLET

WHY HERE? This hotel takes the spa concept to a whole new level with its purpose-built Ayurvedic centre. Much more about wellbeing than ‘beauty’, it is a place to rediscover how to feel good inside and out. The food is superb and the entire hotel is calm and peaceful.
FACILITIES AND TREATMENTS This spa specialises in Ayurvedic treatments, which are offered as ‘journeys’. These journeys begin with a consultation to create a personalised holistic programme. Facilities include a steam room, Hammam (for traditional body scrubs), Rhassoul (for mineral mud sessions), meditation and relaxation spaces. 6. BAILIFFSCOURT SPA & HOTEL

WHY HERE? For the peaceful and tranquil setting, the welcoming staff and delicious food. This unique hotel, built in the 1920s with medieval bricks, fixtures and fittings collected from around the world, is a hidden gem. Log fires, peacocks and a rose garden add to the historic ambience.
